Week 2, Day 4: Shaking off the cobwebs

I'm already behind a week because I've been lazy. Running in the winter has never been one of my favourite activities but the army has ensured I'm well favourite activities but the army has ensured I'm well equipped to handle the task. I had to purchase lots of equipment for cold-weather running and the proper equipment can make a sea of difference. I like stats so I'm going to be adding lots of awesome graphs and stats to track my progress. I don't have many historical stats but I do have some records from Nike+

  • Longest run: 16.1km
  • Fastest 1km: 3:56
  • Fastest 5km: 22:13
  • Fastest 10km: 1:23:57
  • Fastest 1mi: 6:21

So I ran a modest 10k. Taking it slow to avoid injury. I haven't been running in a few months so my body is showing signs of neglect. Here are the details from the run:

  • Weight: 164 lbs
  • BP: 133/79
  • HR: 60 bpm
  • Distance: 10.0km
  • Time: 90:00
  • Goal Progress: 10km
